Auburn, Sydney. Close to the Auburn Botanical Gardens.

The preschool will run from 9:30am-2:30pm
Can I drop my child off late/pick my child up early some days?
Yes
My child is just under 3, can they still enrol?
Sorry, no. The child must be 3 years old minimum.
What will be taught at the preschool?
At Sayeda Ruqayah Academy we provide children with a lovely balance of Shia Islamic education, Quranic learning, play-based activities, and of course school-readiness programs.
Will the preschool continue during school holidays?
No, the preschool stops and starts on the same schedule as NSW public schools
What happens if I can only attend half a term because I’m travelling? Can I get a partial refund?
Sorry, no. For the school to be sustainable we need all parents to pay full term fees regardless of how many weeks they attend
My child has allergies, how do you accommodate for them?
We will not be providing food. We will be implementing a nut fee environment. You will need to provide your child's allergy action plan.
Can I go on a payment plan?
Sorry, no. Full term fees are due in week 1 of the term at the latest.
Can I drop my child off and stay with them the first few days?
We do not recommend this as your child will likely take longer to settle and will be distracted by your presence.
Can I sit in and observe for a day before actually enrolling my child?
For us to be able to run this project we need full term fees guaranteed. So you will need to pay for the term to secure your child's spot. We also do not offer observation days for parents. We are confident you will see the results of your child's progress in the environment.
What are the qualifications and experience of the teachers?
The teachers are experienced in working with young children of your child's age. Some are student teachers undertaking their university studies in Education. They have a basic level of Islamic knowledge and are involved in community projects.
Will the children be fed during the day or do I provide lunch and snacks?
You will need to provide meals and snacks.
Can someone else pick my child up for me? What is the procedure for this?
Yes, you will need to provide written and verbal notice to the admin team.
